Physical Description:

Jamie is a lean girl. She doesn't have any extra padding on her body as she's spent so much time training for sports. However, she kind of laments this fact, as that means she has a considerable lack of chest for the most part. She's extremely embarrassed about that, and tends to dress to accentuate her other features. Like her stomach. She's quite proud of her stomach, it's very flat, and well toned. If she can get away with it, namely in History of Magic, she likes to untuck her shirt, and tie it up much too far. She's gotten a fair few detentions just for that. It's not that she's a whore, it's just, she's very proud of her stomach.

Her hair is rather crazy, and she doesn't know what to do with it for the most part. Lots of times she'll cut it short, or just put it up in a pony tail, just to get it out of her face. She has naturally curly hair that spills out everywhere, and is completely untamable. Her hair is also naturally dark, but she's lightened it quite a bit, feeling that the brownish hair goes better with her pale complexion.

Personality:

Jamie is a bit of a wild girl. She likes to play around, and mostly be "one of the guys." Though, those "guys" are her three best friends, Sienna, Reese and Penny. The four of them have gotten themselves into quite a bit of mischief. Jamie can't get enough of playing around. She's grown up quite a lot, physically, but she's got a lot yet to do, mentally. She still enjoys pulling rather childish pranks, knowing that her charm can easily get her out of most detention. Most Professors love her, despite her mischievous nature.

She cares a lot for her friends, and would do anything for them. She especially watches over Reese, knowing that, being what she is, she has a difficult time in life. It angers her that people are so prejudice against half-breeds. It's not their fault they were bitten! She has a lot of compassion in her, and she shows this through her relationship with her friends.

When it comes to other people, though, she's rather conceited. She knows herself to be the best. She's the best Quidditch Player, the best student, the best looking. She's just the best at everything, as far as she's concerned. Becoming Quidditch Captain really didn't help reduce her ego, either.

History:

Jamie is the only daughter of Dorea Black and Charlus Potter. Her parents married quite to the surprise of all their relatives. The Potters were a well known pureblooded family, but their allegiences had always lied with those of opposing thoughts to the Black family. Dorea was not stricken from the family tree, because, despite the Potter family's allegiences, it was a good match. They married rather early on in life, but Dorea had problems conceiving for the longest time. Finally, she consulted an expert at Saint Mungos, and was able to conceive a child very late in her life. Dorea gave birth to a baby girl when she was forty years old.

Because their child came late in life, the two loving parents spoiled her rotten. Dorea doted on the girl, giving her nothing but the best. Charlus thought they ought to have been a bit more strict, especially when Jamie was doing such lovely things as putting glue in his morning porridge. He loved his daughter very much, and was want to spoil her as well. He did it in his own way, though, showing his love by buying her a present every time he left on business. Or when he taught her to ride a broom when she was seven. Initially Charlus had been disappointed in not having a son to carry on the Potter name, but he was soon enamored with his daughter and got over that. He was quite determined, however, to do all the things with her he had intended to do with his own son.

So, Jamie grew up quite a sheltered life, doted on by her parents. She was in for a bit of a shock when she entered Hogwarts and had to learn to cope with things on her own. She cried a lot the first few nights when he mother wasn't around to tuck her in. Her dormmates were quite understanding of sorrow, and she soon formed fast friendships with the three of them. They each had their own personalities to offer to the little band they formed. When Jamie finally got sick of sitting around their dormitory the whole time, she suggested they go exploring the castle.

They soon came to call themselves the Marauders, because Jamie was especially keen on filching things from the kitchen or Filch's office. The group faced a difficult moment when Jamie got fed up with Reese for leaving so often, and she finally asked the other girl what was up. Upon learning that Reese was a werewolf, Jamie felt her heart go out to the other girl. She took Reese under her wing more after that moment. She and Sienna vowed to do whatever they could to help her with her transformations. Thus, one night during their fifth year, Moony Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs finally came to be. After that moment, they explored the castle much more in depth. Jamie even suggested they should create a map of their findings.

They've been working on the map for some time, but haven't quite finished it, yet. As of now, it's just an ordinary sketch of the castle. Sienna, especially, has large plans for the map, hoping to be able to charm it. Jamie just hopes they can eventually use it for creating even more mischief.

Jamie joined the Quidditch team during her fourth year, making it as a Chaser. She simply adores the game, and her father couldn't be more proud of her. She's brilliant at what she does, which is why she was named team Captain at the end of her fifth year. During her fifth year she developed a monstrous crush on her fellow chaser, Liam. She thinks he's positively perfect, and has tried to ask him out a few times, but he's refused on all accounts. She can't figure out what she's done wrong. Maybe she's not girly enough for him? She gets awkward when she's around him, and tends to say inappropriate things, or just generally make a fool of herself.

Prongs:

Jamie's animagus form is quite interesting. She ended up changing into some form of deer. Though, she had done it so hastily that in her excitement she transfigured herself quite.. wrong. Having mucked it up the first time, Jamie was stuck with what she came up with, unable to change her animal form. Not to mention that she doesn't quite have the patience to do the research to see if there was a way to fix the thing.

Jamie is a doe. Only, she seems to have antlers. Having grown up with quite a boyish attitude on life, she was aiming for some sort of fearsome male creature. She wound up as a female, because she couldn't change her gender. The antlers came with her strong desire to be able to protect herself and her friends from the werewolf. She doesn't mind all that much, as she thinks it's rather cool to be the only female deer with antlers.
